Anniversary

A new Israeli film called "Anniversary", written and directed by Gili Danon is coming up soon on the big screen. For Danon, the concept for the movie has merged out of deep emotional pain, resulted by a tragedy he experienced in his personal live. Five years ago, Danon's older brother died after much battle with liver disease and now less than a year ago his father also passed away due to prostate cancer and a broken heart for the loss of his child. Danon has stated that although the movie was born out of great agony, he ceased an opportunity to deal with other matters such as the power of love and music. He also stated that he feels as though the movie is mainly about choice- a choice between two men, choice between life and death and mostly the choice to take responsibility of one's life without any apprehension.
