Doesn't everyone have a Thoracolumbar Fascia (TLF) workout as part of their routine?? 😆 Seriously, the TLF is thick enough to be considered a built-in lifting belt soooo when we let it get stuck, it can do a bunch of bad stuff that you can feel FAR from the source! Imagine that tightness as a hand place on the Lower Back going from fingers outstretched to slowly making a fist pulling in FIVE directions. This is why Jefferson Curls are only one small part of the solution. You're gonna need a movement with some serious Internal Rotation of the Femurs as well as Lateral movement of the spine: Cross Leg Side Bends. To satisfy the Femoral IR aspect, l went with Barbell Pullups with feet cranked in using 108lb. If when done, you feel a bunch of activation going on in the Glute Medius, you did the movement correctly. Don't be surprised if your Hip Flexors & Lower Abs get cramped.
