In Bob Iger’s first move back at Walt Disney ($DIS@US), the returning CEO removed Kareem Daniel, who was head of media and entertainment, and announced a restructuring in a memo to company employees. Iger is restructuring Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution, one of the company’s business segments, which resulted in Daniel’s departure. Iger stated that “new structure that puts more decision-making back in the hands of our creative teams and rationalizes costs.”
