From the classical period to the romantic and modern eras, Korean violinist Baek Ju-young and Finnish virtuoso Ralf Gothoni take the audience on a virtuosic journey. Lauded by MaestroZZ Krzysztof Penderecki as the “next Goddess of Violin,” Baek made national headlines in Korea with her appointment as the youngest faculty member of the prestigious Seoul National University. In addition to that, she enjoys an extensive international career. Gothoni also has a multifaceted career as solo pianist, chamber musician and conductor throughout the world. Needless to say again, the two take the audience to new levels of classical music with their incredible skills. The concert repertoire consists of some classic pieces of Mozart and Beethoven, the experimental Schnittke as well as the virtuosic Paganini, presenting the incredible diversity of classical music.
