FREE SPEECH: LENORE SKENAZY

The author of "Free Range Kids" has long been an advocate of our host's "Safety Last" philosophy. Despite crime being down and the world being much safer than when we were kids, helicopter parenting has reached epidemic proportions. That sucks. When Skenazy sees a couple get in trouble because their 8-year-old was playing in a nearby park unsupervised she wants more parents to let their kids outside. They can't arrest us all.
