HELP! - How does a repeater (really) work?

[English version]

Hi everyone, here is my first ever English-spoken video! :-) A very interesting experiment from a personal point of view - English is not my mother tongue - and a way to reach a greater number of Minecraft redstone players at the same time. Why?

I love redstone. I'm not an expert, but no longer a true beginner neither. At the moment, I'm facing an unanswered question relating to the repeater: WHEN does a repeater check the state of the current on its input? Every tick? Every X ticks (where X is the delay currently configured on the repeater)? Each time the state of the current changes? I'm not quite sure in fact...

I couldn't find this information on the wiki, so your help is requested :-) If some of you know the answer, I'd be really grateful. Thanks a lot in advance!

Salut la compagnie, désolé pour ceux qui ne parlent pas anglais, mais il me tenait à coeur depuis un moment de tenter l'aventure dans une langue qui n'est pas la mienne :-)

Je me pose ici la question suivante : A QUEL MOMENT un repeater vérifie t-il l'état du courant au niveau de son entrée ? A chaque tick ? Tous les X ticks (X étant le délai configuré au niveau du repeater) ? A chaque fois que l'état du courant change ? La réponse à cette question n'est pas bien claire pour moi...

Faire une vidéo en anglais me permet logiquement de toucher un plus grand nombre de joueurs Minecraft sur cette planète, mais si certains d'entre-vous (joueurs francophones) connaissent la réponse à cette question (information non trouvée sur le wiki), je vous serais hautement reconnaissant d'éclairer ma lanterne :-) Merci d'avance !
