Holding Effect
Artist Jahn Jang depicts the stories of relationships using keywords like

human bodies, objects and black through his exhibition "Holding Effect."

As the winner of the 1st Portfolio Competition held by the Seoul

Foundation for Arts and Culture, Jang covers not only the relationships

between individuals, groups and societies, but also countries, religions,

values and ideologies. The piece "Raindrop" was inspired by rainy scenery,

but upon closer view, each raindrop depicts a human. Hovering between

3D and 2D spaces, Jang questions how we should build and maintain our

relationships.
