RICS offers membership status for people who wish to advance in the construction sector. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has different levels of Chartered Membership. The AssocRICS, MRICS and the FRICS. Each level of qualification requires specific prerequisites such as experience in the field, skills and the academic qualifications which are necessary to become a member and to earn the designation given by the RICS
