Dukascopy Forex TV Team has once again been scrutinizing the interbank spread levels to provide you with the primary Spike Controller. I`m Monica Gibson.
Euro/Dollar’s long term average and maximum spreads are point 27 and 1.3 pips respectively.
The rate has dropped sharply today, declining from the high of 1 0781 by a total of point 83% or 90 pips.
Last 24 hours have been calm for the spreads, maximum of only 1.3 pips took place yesterday at 3:47 pm GMT.
The Cable’s daily average spread is point 95 pips and maximum separation has been 3.6 pips.
Long term high and low difference of 105 pips was posted as the rate gained point 69%, but it has dropped from the high of 1 5247.
Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday at 12:20 PM GMT, but the max of 3.6 pips lasted just a single tick.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 39 pips. Maximum separation has been 1.7 pips.
The biggest move has been a decline of point 36% or 44 pips, but the rate rebounded from the low of 122 74.
No major spreads have been recorded during the last 24 hours and the max of 1.7 pips took place today at 5:38 in the morning.
