Fourteen-year old Lloyander Scotland, a third form student of Scarborough Secondary School, has created an app for the detection and early warning of the Sargassum Seaweed.
Lloyander recently placed third nationally, in the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute's and Republic Bank's Coding and Innovation Programme, Power-Up Competition. Elizabeth Williams spoke with the 14year-old for our Tech Talk segment.
