By looking at different time frames you will have multiple perspectives as to what is going on with the price of a stock. 15 minute charts show the open, high, low, and closing prices for 15 minutes. There are also 60 minute charts, daily charts, weekly charts, and monthly charts. Always start by viewing the monthly time frame. This will give you a broad perspective. From there, move down to view the weekly and daily charts. Remember to keep in mind what the larger trend is doing.
