After the summer riots we felt that it was important for us to go to the effected areas, find some of the young people with something to say about what had happened and to support them in making a film.
Somerset Film and First Light backed us to work in a Youth Club in Edmonton. The youth club is staffed almost entirely by young volunteers. Many are unemployed or have had trouble in their lives.
These young people help their communities by giving children and teenagers a safe place to go, support and inspiration.
The time that we spent there had a big effect on all of us and the film we made with the young people from Northside is something we are very proud of.
