This capping system allows for continuous capping of a wide variety of bottle and cap types and sizes. The capping machine uses an automatic cap delivery system consisting of a pre-feeder, sorting bowl and cap chute. Bulk caps are loaded into the pre-feeder and move to the sorting bowl via a cleated conveyor belt. Once dropped into the sorting bowl, caps will be correctly oriented and delivered down the cap shoot for presentation to the bottles. Each bottle moving into the spindle capping machine will grab a cap before entering the capping area. The spindle capper then uses sets of spinning wheels to tighten the caps securely to the containers.
