Job Location: Fairfax
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Welcomes and directs clients, visitors, and guests.
Monitoring the front desk, following security requirements by assigning visitor badges, and having all individuals sign in and out.
Notifying WidePoint employees when visitors and clients have arrived for meetings or appointments.
Answering and transferring front desk phone calls, screening when necessary, taking messages, and directing calls as appropriate.
Receiving, opening, and logging all mail into the WidePoint billing database daily.
Filing paperwork on a weekly basis, if not more frequently.
Receiving supply packages and unpacking/distributing supplies.
Performing administrative and clerical support tasks (i.e., scanning documents, organizing files, and shipping packages.)
Uses data entry equipment to record assigned data.
Resolves minor processing problems; seeks assistance from a supervisor or other appropriate staff for issues beyond immediate expertise.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
The minimum qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent required, some data entry experience preferred.
Able to obtain a WidePoint ECA Medium Assurance Certificate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient in Adobe Reader or related software to generate PDFs.
Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Ability to perform internet searches, access databases, and websites.
Excellent and precise data entry and typing skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Ability to work independently.
