The initial idea for Google Stadia begins to take shape months after its launch. This new video game system should be as free as possible with the least amount of cables, but maintaining the quality of the game.
Starting this week, the Google Stadia controller will be able to free itself from the cables that tied it to the computer. The company thus fulfils those that it promised from the beginning that we could forget about the USB-C cable and use the computer's ports for other uses while playing one of the titles that this platform currently offers.
This new functionality allows us to connect the gamepad to the WiFi network, just like the computer, the TV or the Chromecast device. With this, it will be easier to go from playing on television to playing on the computer.
