Main difference between Div and span tag


Div tag is a block-level element and span tag is a inline- level element.

Important points


Div tag and span tag is also a paired tag is also known as container tag.

Span tag is used to enclose online contents like text, images etc.

Div tag ka use web page ke basically layout or basic Dom - skeleton banane ke liye karte hai.


Div is a block level element and is therefore capable of creating basic structure of containers to create other elements and making various parts or sections on a web page.
