Pharmacology is the science of drugs. It is made up of two Greek words pharmacon and logos. In this, pharmacon means drugs and logos means Discourse in.
In a broader sense, pharmacology is the study of interactions between external chemicals with living systems when administered.
Although it encompasses all aspects of medicines, it is important that they serve the purpose of safe and effective use of medicines.
