Red as love, heart, passion, fire, blood, or may be not.
Red as apples, as any objects accidentally red gathered in a still life that, contrary to the law of immobility of all the still lives, seems to have the will to follow the rhythm of a jazz foley suggesting a sense of restless instability.
The video is part of my project to revitalize the still life as a genre renewed by the time factor and the movement of the video as a medium.
Revisiting the classic genre of still life, inspired by Flemish painting and by Caravaggio's paintings, shapes and colors are enhanced by the light contrasting with the black background. As in paintings subjects are in complete stillness, in videos there is the fourth dimension, time, which gives further metaphorical depth to the image.

Rosso come l'amore, il cuore, la passione, il fuoco, il sangue, oppure no.
Rosso come le mele, come oggetti qualsiasi fortuitamente rossi uniti in una natura morta che contrariamente alla legge di immobilità di tutte le nature morte sembra voler seguire il ritmo di un jazz rumorista, suggerendo così un senso di inquieta instabilità.
Il video fa parte del progetto di rivitalizzare la natura morta come genere rinnovato dal fattore temporale e dal movimento del video come medium.
Rivisitando il classico genere della natura morta, ispirandomi alla pittura fiamminga e caravaggesca le forme ed i colori vengono esaltati dalla luce a contrasto col nero di fondo. Mentre nei quadri gli oggetti sono nella completa immobilità, nel video esiste la quarta dimensione temporale a dare un'ulteriore profondità metaforica all'immagine.
