Tithe And Covenant
描述
Tithing is a very important part of Christianity, you see as Christians god asks us to give the first 10% of what we earn every year, in a display of faith to God, ourselves and the world as a whole. This is a freewill offering to the lord proving to God that while others may consider money to be their god we as Christians keep God first at all times and consider God and only God to be holy.. … so now… I’d like to expand on the word holy, which comes from the Hebrew word (háa-gi-os) which means to be in "likeness of nature of the Lord" a divine being…. That is with us thorough all eternity, in his presence darkness flee’s in terror, it evaporates, it cannot stand. God says to us never will he leave us, never does he forsake us…
for this is the will of the lord.
And so I ask you if you stood in the same room with god …as you do now… knowing that in a second he could incinerate you, not he would, but, he could… would you sin? If he asked you not to do something would you do it, against his will? Would you speak against God? Would you put your will over Gods? I pray we keep our will second to Gods, you see for the word holy means, love, it means that if god is holy to you then you will obey that which you love, that which is precious to you…. That which is a Christians “all in all, the king of kings the lord of lords”
Now lets touch a little greater on tithes.. the fourth commandment that God gave to Moses which commands Christians to be very hard working, reads “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor” but God isn’t interested in your money, he want’s your Spirits , hearts, minds , bodies, words and actions… offered to him, in a complete surrender to the ways of the Lord.
So while we work and work hard were not working for money were working to glorify God and bring him glory through ourselves.. as representative of Christ on earth and the difference between working for money and working for God is a very critical one and the second you step of alignment with this I warn you, you are in danger of the fires of hell..
Now in Deuteronomy 12 it is written “let your hearts be turned to the place which will be marked out by the Lord your God, among your tribes, to put his name there; And there you are to take your burned offerings and other offerings, and the tenth part of your goods, and the offerings to be lifted up to the Lord, and the offerings of your oaths,” You see the Israelites took oaths with God, these Christians, were praying to god to make them a great and powerful nation, that would act as servants of the lord, his chosen, the chosen of god, his treasured possessions on earth… they were asking god for the knowledge and wisdom to build this and he gave it to them. Moses said to the Israelites “We will do everything the LORD has commanded.”
And now I say unto you, if you bring yourselves into full alignment with the covenant of God, that he has given us within the bible, if you do all the lord has
for this is the will of the lord.
