Kay Kemble, Bandleader

Ongoing project looks at 1938 - 1952, key era for the mythical Kay Kemble. Teacher, radio personality, bandleader. Among other things, Kay taught Morse Code to aspiring pilots at an air base, hosted the radio show "Boogie Woogie Baton," and led The Gold Sheen Shampoo Orchestra. Lots of 78 rpm recor
