Goal Setting Made Easy
描述
Imagine for a moment your team setting goals together and chasing them down — and chasing them down with a positive and optimistic attitude. What sort of a difference would that make to your business — and do you even think it's possible? Watch this video and I'll show you how you can make it a reality in your business.
In most small businesses, the reality is you've got great people and you've got good people, but for the most part they just show up, do their job — perhaps do their job to the best of their ability — clock off and head home. And in most cases, you're not getting anywhere near the value from the people that you could. On the other side of the coin, the team members, the staff aren't getting the full value out of their work experience, either. So, all in all, it's a lose-lose situation.
Creating a culture of goal setting really is the key. For the most part, most small business owners and the team show up and they'll do the same thing they did yesterday, today and they'll do it again tomorrow. And as some very, very intelligent person once said, doing the same thing each day and expecting a different result is the first step towards insanity.
What we want to do is create a culture of goal setting. How that's done, though, is by you, the leader of the organization, leading by example. The bottom line is if you don't own it, you can't sell it — so you've got to become a master of goal setting. And what will happen through that process is you, firsthand, will start to see the value in goal setting. You'll start to see how opportunities will present themselves and what a big difference it actually makes when you become a goal setter — writing down goals on a regular basis, figuring out what you need to do and scheduling those activities.
